About Me

Since 2011 I have owned Interiors for the Home. My point of view is expressed in the product mix and aesthetic found in the store. I travel throughout the U.S. several times a year buying for the store and for specific clients.

As an Interior Designer I work with clients to create a timeless, functional, and unique environment that suits their taste and needs. By listening and always putting the client first, each project is tailored to the individual needs of the client. Every project is different. My belief is that exceptional customer service and communication are the foundation of a great working relationship.

I graduated from Marymount University in Arlington, VA with a BA in Interior Design and a minor in Art History. I gained my first broad design experience working for Camille Saum Interior Design in Washington DC. I later became involved in politics and worked on Capitol Hill in Congress, and as a lobbyist specializing in healthcare issues for R. Duffy Wall & Associates. I took a break from the fast-paced world of politics to raise two children and I’m grateful that I had the opportunity to do that.

Whether you are decorating your home on your own or need full interior design services, I promise great customer service that's friendly and approachable. Homes should be more personal than perfect.  I love the process of getting to know my clients, efficiently managing their projects, and creating havens for them. Together we can create something that's fresh and authentic, more loved than simply lived in.
